
Nomination & Voting Rules
Carefully read the rules and policies for nominations, nominator eligibility, and voting rules below.
Nominations
1. Eligibility

To be eligible for nomination:
-
Eligible works must have been publicly released between May 1, 2025 and April 30, 2026.

Only works released during the eligibility period may be nominated.
-
Each nominator may submit one (1) nomination per award category.

Nominations must be submitted through the official nomination form and include all required information. Incomplete submissions may be deemed ineligible.
-
Multiple individuals from the same company, agency, production, or organization may each submit their own nominations.
2. Nomination Guidelines
-
Nominations must reflect the independent opinion of the individual submitting them.
-
Coordinated or organized nomination campaigns intended to manipulate the nomination process are prohibited.

Nominees may promote awareness of the nomination period, but may not encourage or coordinate identical nominations or provide pre-filled nomination lists intended to influence submissions.

By submitting a nomination, the nominator confirms that the information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

The Verties Awards Board may correct obvious clerical or formatting errors, including spelling mistakes, duplicate submissions, incorrect titles, or similar administrative issues without affecting the validity of an otherwise eligible nomination.
3. Who May Submit Nominations
The following individuals are eligible to submit nominations:

Apps and their authorized representatives
-
Actors
-
Directors
-
Casting Directors
-
Producers
-
Production Houses and their authorized representatives
-
On-Set Crew
-
Agents and Talent Managers
-
Vertical drama podcasters, commentators, and reviewers*
-
Vertical fan page managers (including actor fan pages)*
*Eligibility for content creators and fan pages is subject to approval by The Verties Awards Board. Minimum requirements relating to account age, activity, authenticity, audience size, and community engagement may apply.
4. Verification & Eligibility Review
The Verties Awards Board reserves the right to:

Verify the eligibility of any nominee or nominated work.

Request additional information when necessary.
-
Remove nominations that do not meet eligibility requirements.
-
Consolidate duplicate nominations submitted under different spellings or titles.
-
Correct administrative errors made during the nomination process.
The Board's eligibility decisions are final.
Confidentiality
-
All nomination submissions are confidential.
-
Nomination information is accessible only to authorized members of The Verties Awards Board.
-
Individual nominations, nomination totals, and internal deliberations will not be publicly disclosed.
-
Information submitted as part of the nomination process will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.
Voting & Winner Selection
1. Finalist Selection
-
After nominations close, the three (3) eligible nominees receiving the highest number of valid nominations in each category will advance to the public voting round.

Nomination totals will not be published.
-
Finalists will be announced alphabetically or in another neutral format. Their nomination ranking will not be disclosed.
-
Advancing as a finalist does not indicate first, second, or third place in the nomination round.
2. Public Voting

Fans may cast one (1) vote per category during the official voting period.
-
Votes should represent each voter's genuine opinion of the eligible work or individual.

The number of nominations received does not determine the winner. Nominations determine the finalists only. Winners are determined by the official voting process.
3. Fair Voting
To preserve the integrity of The Verties:
The following activities are prohibited:
-
Vote buying or offering incentives in exchange for votes.
-
Using automated voting systems, bots, scripts, or similar methods.
-
Creating multiple accounts to cast additional votes.
-
Fraudulent voting or vote manipulation.
-
Coercing, intimidating, harassing, or pressuring individuals regarding how they should vote.
-
Impersonating another person during the nomination or voting process.
Nominees and their supporters may publicly encourage fans to vote, provided they do so honestly and without engaging in prohibited conduct.
The Verties Awards Board reserves the right to investigate any activity that may compromise the integrity of the awards.
Where violations are identified, the Board may, at its sole discretion:

Remove fraudulent or invalid votes.

Disqualify nominees or nominations.
-
Suspend or remove voting privileges.
-
Take any other action necessary to preserve the fairness of the Awards.
Categories
The Verties Awards Board reserves the right to:
-
Combine categories with insufficient eligible nominations.
-
Divide categories where appropriate.
-
Rename or retire categories when necessary.
-
Decline to present an award if there are insufficient eligible nominees or if the category does not meet the standards of competition.
Self-Nominations
Self-nominations are permitted provided the nominee otherwise meets all eligibility requirements and is eligible to submit nominations.
Voting Confidentiality

Individual voting records remain confidential.
-
Vote totals and voting data will not be publicly released except at the discretion of The Verties Awards Board.

Voting information will never be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.
Board Authority
The Verties Awards Board is responsible for administering the nomination and voting process.
The Board reserves the right to interpret these rules, resolve disputes, address unforeseen circumstances, and make any decisions necessary to ensure a fair and impartial awards process.
All decisions of The Verties Awards Board regarding eligibility, nominations, voting, finalists, and winners are final.
